After graduating culinary school in New York, 20 years ago, I was very fortunate to work with some of the top chefs at the Waldorf Astoria where I received my primary training in French classic cuisine.
After my apprenticeship, I went to work at AROC, Danielle's in New York, Pacific East in the Hamptons and The Biltmore Hotel, Pearl Champagne Lounge (above Nikki Beach), Nemo and Pacific Time in Miami.
In 2002, I thought I'd move on and present to you catering on an upscale level along with Special Event Catering, Production Catering, Personal Chef Services and in-house cooking classes and demonstrations. The main difference is that we are not the typical catering company...basically, no managers, no sales people or gimmicks, no assistant chefs at the helm of your special event. If you call us you will contact a Jeannetti and it is against our company policy not to work at your event. We believe that you are entitled to talk to the owners who care about their business and care about giving you the personal touch and service you truly deserve. We also came to realize that clients appreciate the time we take to do customized menus and not treat your event as a cookie cutter package. You'd be surprised how reasonable and competitive we are. If there are two things that you'll read about Jeannetti's is that the quality of food and service cannot be compared to others in this industry.
In the last two years I've traveled throughout China (Beijing, Shanghai, Xian and Hong Kong), Vietnam (Hanoi and Saigon) and Bankgok, Thailand in search of authentic Asian recipes. I learned from master chefs their "secret" techniques and found a way to adapt them all to one specific style which I like to call "Asianese". We also offer several types of cuisines from American, Italian, French Classic and so much more.
In September of 2007 we made a decision to become a green company which basically means that we recycle vegetable oil to convert into bio diesel, use organic products, purchase free range chicken and farm raised animals that do not contain hormones, use local purveyors, vendors and local "mom and pop" companies to support our local economy....honestly, it's a slightly a bit more but we are proud to be one of the few caterers in South Florida to see the bigger picture and hope you will join us in this effort. We can also assist you with the implementation of green events.
